How are you feeling? I mean, really? Are you in touch with the sensations that change from moment to moment? Take a moment to answer these few queries:

The answer depends upon how much we are in touch with the internal state of our body and our being. The ability to be able to correctly infer these signs is called interoception.
Why do we have weak interoception?
Due to over consumption of the mind and awareness in what is going on in the outside world, we discount the internal process. At times we are not even aware of this superpower of ours, which in Yoga is acknowledged when we ask, “Are you self-aware?”

Long before I learnt Yoga asanas and kriyas, I learnt from my parents the importance and sacrednes of having a meditation mat (dhyana asana).The concept of asana as a physical position has been over explored along with having an appropriate Yoga mat, however the concept of having a mediation mat for mediation is mostly ignored.
