How do you sequence your whole class? What is your secret recipe?
You know, I love cooking food. For me designing a class is similar to cooking a nutritious, healthy and balanced meal.
So, then how do I cook?
Here's what I do - Before I start cooking, I have an exact idea of how the dish shall look for the eyes, taste in the mouth and also how it shall feel as a complete experience. This knowing become the foundation for me. When I am ready to lead a session, I bring myself to a quiet place in mind and breath.
This invokes a feeling in my heart like a drop of nectar and the whole sequencing is to release it from my heart to the hearts practicing.
A drop holds the entire ocean and for me the feeling holds the entire sequence.
Here are 3 tips related to sequencing:
I like to keep my mind as an empty slate when I enter a class. Once I take a seat, I invoke the present of the lineage of realized beings in my heart and mentally say, " i am here but may you lead through me". At times stepping out of your own way helps.
Hope you enjoyed the secret recipe!
