Yoga Shri Mala is a visual reminder of what is Yoga and is based on Yoga Sutra 1.12, Tridosha theory of Ayurveda, and Trika Shaivism tradition of Tantra.
Little known that the word Yoga is a mantra itself. Made up of 4 seed sounds representing progressive states of realization: Yung (Yama, Niyama, Asana and Pranayama), Ung (Pratyhara), Gang (dharana and dhyana) and Aha (Samadhi). To convey this, the Mala has four resting points as the balanced, gathered and harmonious state of mind: the merging rivers of Prana (Sodalite), Tejas (Carnelian) and Ojas (Pearl) comes together four syllables as Yoga.
The sterling silver pendant is the crown jewel of the mala representing Shakti. On one side is the hand-scribed “Shri” by Indu, on the other side is the Triśūlābjamaṇḍala mandala of Para Devi.
