Explore the inner terrain of a calm and quiet mind with this four-part series that blends the internal practices of yoga (including pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra, and guided relaxation) for rest and rejuvenation during challenging and stirring times.

Class 1: July 7

Take a step towards a healthier body by understanding the doshas. This practice of pranayama, mudras, meditation, and relaxation is designed to bring balance to vata, pitta, and kapha. This session is inspired from classic Ayurvedic texts.

Class 2: July 14

Take a step towards a deeper understanding of prana and pranayama. This practice of mudra, breathwork, and mantra is designed to bring balance to the 5 pranas. This session is inspired by the Yoga Sutras.

Class 3: July 21

Take a step towards a deeper understanding of pratyahara, “the missing limb of yoga.” In this session, you’ll learn how to systematically internalize the 5 senses to calm and clear the mind. This session is inspired by the Bhagavad Gita.

Class 4: July 28

Take a step towards deepening your meditation practice. With the support of yogic practices, move from tamas to sattva, restlessness to rest, confusion to clarity. This session is inspired from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.

Have a mat, meditation cushion, japa mala, and blanket available. Every session begins with a 5-10 minute dharma talk and ends with 10 minutes for Q and A.
