DETAILS
It may be one of the most misuderstood and underestimated practices that nearly anyone who has stepped on a Yoga mat knows. Shavasana. The world needs more rest, sleep, and deep relaxation. Clarity of mind, physical health, and emotional balance lead to focused, healthy, and clear-minded individuals and thus, society. Are you ready to be a Shavasana Expert? With the depth of this training and your practice, you will be equipped to guide yourself and others into the essential practice of shavasana. This practice is the missing link between the practice of pranayama and mediation. It is a precise, conscious, and step-by-step approach in-order to prepare the body and mind for higher states of awareness, such as Yoga Nidra.
There is no denying the abundance of stimuli that surrounds us. Shavasana is the practice of sensory relaxation, consolidation, and redirection (pratyahara), a practice to retain ojas, radiate tejas, and uplift prana. As a society, we are both sleep- and rest-deprived! Move from Shavasana to Yoga Nidra effortlessly. Train your breath for meditation, understand the relationship between brain and rest and build emotional resilience with one single practice: Shavasana.
We will delve into the how, when, and why of Shavasana from the theoretical to the practical standpoint. We will discuss what modern science says about rest, sleep, and circadian rhythms. Take home a very powerful tool of healing for today’s world. Be a rest guide!
