April 21-23 and May 20-21, 2023
Laya, meaning dissolution in Sanskrit. It is the sequential process of awakening, alignment, dissolution of the chakras to rise to a higher level of awareness. The practice includes asanas, Pranayama, mudras, mantras, and nyasa. It is designed to inspire the sincere student to become curious and informed about chakras.
The common knowledge around chakras is not only incomplete but also incorrect many a time. Being an esoteric system, it is crucial to draw inspiration and information from ancient Tantric and Vedic texts, otherwise it becomes a gooey mix—mystical, magical, and questionable. The appropriation around this subject is palpable and plenty.
In this 5-day immersion we will explore chakra systems as described in Shad Chakra Nirpuana, Vijnana Bhariava Tantra, Netra Tantra, and the connection between chakras, dosha, marma, and Samkhya darshana.
Welcome this esoteric knowledge in a grounded, practical, and digestible format. 15 practice sessions, detailed handouts, several Q and A opportunities and video replay (limited time) allow the registered participant opportunity for qualitative assimilation of teachings.
