Often disguised as a Pranayama, Kapalbhatti is misunderstood as a breathing practice. However its main place in Yoga is for cleansing as a part of 6 cleansing practices known as Shat Kriyas. Ease your breath, reset the Prana and calm the emotional turbulence with a singular practice. Kapalbhatti is the crown jewel of Yoga. When done at the right time with the right technique it sharpens the senses, strengthens the lungs and balances the doshas. The focal point, pace and frequency are the essential tripod of this practice.
