Ayurveda is the missing link in the present day yoga. With the foundational understanding of the relationship between health, Yoga and Ayurveda we can re-shape our practice to balance the doshas, gunas and leads us to the state of health (swastha). How to live Ayurveda is way ore important then learning techniques, definitions, terms and sutras. This is a program for Living Ayurveda in every day life. I will be sharing some basic things that I have found really helpful to equip us with practices that keep our physical, mental and energetic balance.
Friday, Day 1:
Ayurveda, Dosha, Gunas and 5 elements
3 types of Suffering, 3 types of Ayurvedic protocol and 3 pillars of health
Practical tips to assess dosha and guna for a day to day guidance
Saturday, Day 2:
Yoga Practice for 7 tissues and Agni balance
Concept of Agni, Prana, Tejas, Ojas and Soma
Diet: Dos and Don'ts
Living concepts of 5 Prana, 5 Pitta and 5 Kapha
Sunday, Day 3:
Yoga practice for 5 sensory organs
5 essential steps of Dinacharya and Ratrichrya (healthy day and night routines)
5 considerations for daily routine/practices based on seasons (ritucharya)
Relaxation practices
